The Trailblazers of Broward County, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We promote African American history and achievements to inspire and educate our communities.
African Americans and the African diaspora have made steadfast sacrifices and contributions throughout the United States. We celebrate them and honor them for their significant work. We must share knowledge and wisdom from the past to inform the present and help shape the future.
The Trailblazers of Broward County, Inc. was established in 2007 by founders, Beauregard Cummings and Mary Black Rizor, pioneers and community leaders in Broward County.
